Abstract

Organizations need numerous factors and resources to function, but they do not regulate themselves, management is simply what contributes to everything happening within the work environment. Good leadership is an action of the leader, in which it becomes the main key to the growth of organizations, and if well applied it has the capacity to enhance the actions of those led, as a result of which there is a need to widely address this subject within of organizations, along with the application of investments in the qualification not only of those led, but also of leaders. The research was classified as having a qualitative approach, a bibliographic review. This work aimed to address the influence of positive leadership within public administration and the principles present for the proper functioning of management. In view of this, it appears that despite the differences between the public and private sectors, leadership is fundamental in both types of organizations, as it is leadership that, if acted upon in a positive way, has the impact of making work environments happier, less monopolizing and consequently more productive.
