Abstract

In view of the topic in question, issues related to the sufficiency exam were addressed, when, where and why it was instituted, in addition to showing its importance in relation to accounting professionalism in the labor market. In order for this to be clearer and more objective, a questionnaire was applied to students, students, professionals and alumni of the Vale do Jamari-RO region, with sixteen questions, which addressed closed, objective questions in order to know the relevance of the application. of the Sufficiency Examination for Bachelors of the Accounting course and what are the significances of this for the Accounting profession, if this test helps them to grow professionally. According to what was obtained both by researches carried out in articles on similar themes, and by the research that was carried out through this work, we obtained results that the proof of the sufficiency exam is of great importance for those who wish to work in the labor market, exercising its usual function and, which brings the appreciation of the accounting professional. In view of the questionnaire applied, it is observed that the approval and obtaining of the accountant's registration does not make him a better professional, than the one who does not have the registration, and according to the respondents, there is better remuneration for the one who is an accountant duly registered with the class council, it can be seen that many students and alumni responded that they have not yet taken the exam, and that they should already be prepared but that they are not.
